What's New in Support Agent 6
Support Application 6 (SA 6) is BlueFletch's on-device telemetry and support-diagnostics agent to Android devices. It collects device-specific data and provides on-device diagnostic to help support teams resolve issues faster and give end users effective self-service tools.
SA 6 introduces a redesigned, guided diagnostics experience, a new user-identity view, additional device-protection alerts, and a modernized technical foundation built on Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and WorkManager.
To get these improvements, update your fleet to SA 6.
Key Feature Changes
Device Health Diagnostics
Guides users through a sequential pass/fail health check of the device's major subsystems
Triages problems on-device without needing help-desk involvement
User Identity
Displays the current logged-in user (ID, username, roles, groups) and identity-provider connectivity status
Includes paginated login history sourced from local event records
Bluetooth Disconnect Alert
Plays an alert when a paired peripheral disconnects unexpectedly
Notifies the user immediately so they don't continue scanning into a device that isn't receiving data
Device Drop Detection
Detects physical drops using the accelerometer, with configurable thresholds and cooldown
Gives fleet operators visibility into damage history without relying on self-reporting
Dedicated Network Test
Tests endpoint reachability and latency against BlueFletch- and organization-configured endpoints
Runs on demand or on a schedule, separate from the throughput-focused Speed Test
Security Settings
Audits device security posture, including ADB status, developer mode, lock screen, root, and USB state
Consolidates security checks into a single dedicated screen
Honeywell HxLogger Support
Adds Honeywell HxLogger control alongside existing Zebra RxLogger support
Uses the same auto-revert-on-timer design
